• Characteristics: This mini Beaver figure has a mouth full of sticks, probably on its way to add them to a dam or nest its building. This figure features all kinds of beaver-y details, including its flat scaly tail and spiky fur coat.

 History:

Beavers were nearly driven to extinction due to the demand for their fur, but populations  have since rebounded. These remarkable mammals are known for the immense structures they build, both the nests they live in and the dams they build to block the flow of rivers. The purpose of these dams is to ensure the water is deep enough for them to escape from predators.
