USS New York LPD-21 is a part of the U.S. Navy amphibious transport dock ship, She is San Antonio-class ship, the U.S. Navy's seventh ship to New York in the name of the fifth ship in the name of the State of New York and the actualserving warships In 2009 on December 7 on the labor. This ship most of its hull about 7.5 tons of steel material is recycled to the World Trade Center towers collapsed on September 11, 2001, mainly for the manufacture of the bow part.
New York and the other sister ship at the same level of the ship is quite different from the sleek lines of the traditional amphibious ships. Its main function is as a Marine Corps combat equipment air-cushion landing craft (LCAC) and MV-22B Osprey type VTOL the parking and landing platform.
